Frequently Asked Questions

When will I receive my order?

When placing your order with Unique Designs and Essentials for custom party favors and custom crafts we have a processing time of 2 weeks. Please allow the full 2 weeks plus 2-5 days for your order to arrive. If you need your items sooner, a rush fee will be required. Priority or express shipping will not speed up the process time, only the time it takes to arrive once shipped.
What happens in my package is damaged, lost or stolen?

Unique Designs and Essentials is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. Ownership of packages turned over to USPS transfers to the buyer. We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info. Shipping is a service you purchase from USPS along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by USPS. Priority Mail includes free insurance, free tracking and day-specific delivery. In the case that your shipment is lost or damaged in transit; YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO FILE THE INSURANCE CLAIM WITH USPS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES DURING TRANSIT! WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPMENTS SENT TO FORWARDING SERVICES OR COMPANIES REGARDLESS OF SHIPPING SERVICE SELECTED, IF YOU PLACE AN ORDER AND YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS IS A FORWARDING ADDRESS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTACTING YOUR FORWARDING COMPANY OR SERVICE TO LOCATE YOUR SHIPMENT. WE ARE ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE TO WEATHER RELATED DAMAGE OR DELAYS! ONCE PACKAGE LEAVES OUR HANDS IT IS COMPLETELY OUT OF OUR CONTROL. Please make sure your address is correct before placing order we will not be responsible for incorrect addresses.
How do you come up with your designs?

Most of my designs come from life experiences but my custom designs are inspired by you the customer. This is the reason I tried to collect as much information as possible on the order form and during the consultation. Then, I take the info that I collected and create a unique design that will compliment the customer’s request for the occasion.
Do you charge a designing fee?

Yes, I charge a non-refundable designing fee on NEW custom design starting at $15. The reason I charge a fee is because of the time that I take to create your unique custom design.
